Subject: Health Advisory: Remaining January Free H1N1 Vaccination Clinics!

Dear Community Communication Network members,

This will be my last email reminder to you about the FREE H1N1 vaccinations for community members who are uninsured and unable to pay offered by Public Health and HealthPoint through the end of the month. Please encourage your clients and staff who have yet to be vaccinated to take advantage of this free opportunity while it's available.

Attached is the flyer with locations/dates/times. Translated versions are available at the link below:

Additionally, the brochure, "Concerned about H1N1 (swine) flu vaccination for yourself or your child? What you should know" is now available in an additional eight languages at the link below:

Flu Hotline Update

The Flu Hotline, provided as an emergency service by Public Health – Seattle & King County, is transitioning to recorded messages only (English and Spanish) at 5:00 pm, Friday, January 22, 2010. Callers can still listen to important health and safety information about H1N1 influenza 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by dialing 877-903-KING (5464). But the option to speak with a nurse or operator is being phased out. The latest on H1N1 flu, vaccine and free clinics is also on Public Health’s Web site at www.kingcounty.gov/health/h1n1.

Anyone calling the regular Public Health phone number who speaks a language other than English will be transferred to Interpreter Services.

One Final Thank You!

Thanks to each of you for your help in outreaching to your clients, your staff and your community. Your patience with the numerous emails sent to you announcing the Free H1N1 Vaccine Clinics is very much appreciated.
