Dance Lessons and Highland Park dance

From Lilli Ann Carey

Hello West Seattleites!
Classes begin again tomorrow at Highland Park and there's a dance this Saturday at Hiawatha Community Center! Sign up for classes- or at least let me know you're coming and pay at the door! Here's the link to the registration page-- are the offerings...

Tuesdays at Highland Park we have Beginning Waltz, Int/Adv Cross-step Waltz and Swing 2- Cool Moves (the showy ones!)
Beginning Waltz starts off the evening- this class is perfect is you have never danced or even if you have picked up a move or two but want to expand your variations and skills in leading and following. All these moves are main-stays and you will love what you take away from this class. We work or both slow and turning waltz in this class. And I have a little surprise this session for this class. Don't forget if you have never taken a class with Dance for Joy! you may take you first 2 for 1.
Int/Adv Cross-step Waltz- We've covered the beginning and some of the intermediate moves, now we will do a bit of review and move on in the glorious dance.
Swing 2- Cool Moves- a Triple-time Swing class where we focus on some showier swing moves. This class will not just explore showy moves, but will look at how to lead and follow them well.

Next, the dance this Saturday! Here's a text version of the flyer... Pass it on!
