Delridge Playfield improvements: follow up

The West Seattle Blog coverage of the meeting last night has some good news and pictures of the new layout.

From my point-of-view as a neighbor, I'm most thrilled with the new lighting that will be more energy efficient and less intrusive into the surrounding area.

It's good news the field will be also striped for lacrosse, because it will mean more people coming to the neighborhood and experiencing it in a positive way. The more sports, the better.

This is a great example of why it's important to show up at meetings. The striping never would have happened if lacrosse supporters hadn't come to the first meeting and made their case. Well done.

And to all the sports people, welcome to the neighborhood.
