West Seattle is "CRAZY FOR YOU!"

This high energy comedyincludes mistaken identity, plot twists, fabulous dance numbers andclassic Gershwin music. CRAZY FOR YOU is the story of Bobby Child, awell-to-do 1930's playboy, whose dream in life is to dance. Despite theserious efforts of his mother and soon-to-be-ex-fiancée, Bobby achieveshis dream. Memorable Gershwin tunes include I Can't Be Bothered Now,Bidin' My Time, I Got Rhythm, Naughty Baby, They Can't Take That Away fromMe, But Not for Me, Nice Work if You Can Get It, Embraceable You andSomeone to Watch Over Me.
Twelfth Night Productions (TNP) has announced their plan to donate a portion of the proceeds from tickets sales of their upcoming production,Crazy for You, to the White Center Food Bank. TNP has donated a portionof the proceeds from their annual summer production, amounting to nearly$20,000.00, for more than 11 years in an effort to cultivate lasting andmeaningful relationships with their community. Past recipients includethe Compass Center, Habitat for Humanity, Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association (DNDA,) ArtsWest, Youth Advancement through Music and Art(YATMA), and Youngstown Cultural Arts Center. TNP strongly believes thatthe continued support of these local non-profits creates a strong and meaningful connection to the community.Crazy for You runs for a special two-week engagement at West Seattle HighSchool Theater, 3000 California Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98116. Showtimes areAugust 15th and 16th at 7:30 PM and August 17th at 3:00 PM. Tickets are$15 for adults and $10 for students & seniors, and are available throughBrown Paper Tickets (http://www.brownpapertickets.com/), Square One Books and atthe theater box office an hour before curtain on performance days. Aportion of the proceeds from this production will benefit the White CenterFood Bank. TPS members tickets are $10.
